ABOUT ME
Calista Marsh is a Creative and Professional Writing Major at La Trobe University. She has a focus on diverse writing and universal story-telling.

Calista specialises in writing short-stories, poetry, long-form fiction, and screenplays. In her work she depicts the darker side of humanity, while also bringing new life to voices which have previously been silenced. She spends most of her time, however, exploring everything fantastical, whimsical, geeky, and fictional.

Calista was raised in rural Victoria where the most popular activities were going on long drives and gossiping about your neighbours. Calista preferred the vibrant company of her imagination, creating new worlds wherever she went. One day, she started writing about these worlds, entering childhood book-week competitions, and began passionately pursuing a career in writing.

When Calista’s not writing or lost in her own thoughts, you’ll find her with too many cats, a good book, and deadly amounts of coffee.
